A Towerful of Mice: laboratory access and Anabelle’s choice

Use Keira’s lamp, open the hidden laboratory and choose the Graham route without mistaking quest completion for a harmless outcome.

For the documented route that contains the plague maiden, refuse to take Anabelle's bones away and bring Graham to Fyke Isle instead. Taking the bones to him also advances the quest, but releases the Pesta. Neither branch saves Graham.

Reach the hidden laboratory

After Wandering in the Dark, visit Keira near Midcopse and accept her island task to receive the Magic Lamp and Xenovox. Sail to Fyke Isle and investigate the tower's ghost scenes with the lamp.

Near the upper floor, inspect the scratches and operate the wall lever to reveal the laboratory stairs. Use the lamp on the crying ghost and exhaust her conversation. Save before agreeing to move her remains.

Choose the branch deliberately

ResponseDocumented continuation
Agree to take the bonesDeliver them to Graham west of Oreton; he dies and the Pesta escapes the island.
Express distrustFight the Pesta, then persuade Graham to return to the tower. Defeat intervening ghosts; his reunion with Anabelle lifts the curse at the cost of his life.

Check the result and return to Keira

Report to Keira after the chosen resolution. The cleared quest does not mean that every character survived or that the bones branch was harmless. Keep the earlier save until you are satisfied with the outcome.

If the laboratory is inaccessible, revisit the lever checkpoint; if you cannot speak to the ghost, check the lamp interaction. Do not treat a changed objective after accepting the remains as proof you can still select the earlier distrust branch. Continue Keira's later story with the separate Kaer Morhen decision guide; this island choice alone does not recruit her.
