Songs of the Past is announced for 2027; no exact release day is given in the source checked here. It takes Geralt to Letten. It is not a quest you can unlock in the September 2026 Remastered upgrade.
What you can plan around
- Official window: 2027.
- Announced setting: Letten, with new quests, characters and secrets.
- Announced platforms: GOG, Steam, Epic Games Store, Battle.net, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2.
The announcement does not give a complete quest list, item database or route through that region. A guide promising those now would be describing content beyond the available evidence.
Which DLC is already included?
Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine are the two existing expansions included with the updated game. That change is separate from Songs of the Past. This page makes no price, preorder, subscription or free-entitlement claim for the future expansion.
Prepare without chasing an unavailable quest
If your goal is to play now, update your supported version and choose a base-game or existing expansion playthrough. Keep your saves and account details under your own control. There is no announced Songs of the Past launch quest, required level or save-import procedure to follow yet.
Use the linked official announcement and product page for later availability changes. A rumor, shop placeholder or guide headline is not a confirmed day. We checked the announcement on October 4, 2026; this page describes that announcement, not a promise that no later news can exist.
