Choose the region before searching the marker. Witcher3Map provides separate maps for White Orchard, Velen & Novigrad, Skellige, Kaer Morhen and Toussaint. It is an external community tool, not an interactive map built or maintained by this site.
Match your journal to the map
| Your task | Start here |
|---|---|
| Opening contracts and early skill points | White Orchard; Places of Power route |
| Baron, Keira, Novigrad or basic Cat / Griffin gear | Velen & Novigrad |
| Island quests and standard Ursine gear | Skellige |
| Standard Wolf diagrams | Kaer Morhen; story access prerequisite |
| Manticore, dyes or Aerondight | Toussaint, the Blood and Wine region |
Use a small set of filters
- Select the relevant regional map on the external site.
- Hide unrelated marker types. Search for the quest, signpost or collectible you need.
- Compare its nearest named signpost with your in-game map.
- Use the linked quest or gear guide for cave entrances, required items and story gates.
A marker shows a position; it does not explain whether the entrance is underground, whether a quest has opened it, or whether your character has unlocked the region. Avoid spending a whole session searching an inaccessible area solely because a web map displays a pin.
When the current game looks different
Remastered adds a way to track an untracked quest from its map marker. Its interface settings can also hide several HUD marker types. If a marker seems absent, check the active quest, current region and interface filters before assuming your save is broken. The external map uses older location data and may lag new content; Songs of the Past is not an available map region in our verified sources.
