Find Letho in Reardon Manor's barn loft, help him with the betrayal, then invite him to Kaer Morhen after the staged-death sequence. His presence depends on a history in which he survived The Witcher 2. This is a historical quest route, not a command to resurrect a missing NPC.
Find him without confusing the two quests
The Fall of the House of Reardon from Lindenvale directs you to the manor; the creator walkthrough also allows visiting it directly. With Letho present, he has removed the wraiths and placed traps. Approach the barn carefully and climb to the loft.
If he is absent, check your import or simulated history before treating the empty loft as a Remastered bug. Keep the current run intact; this page does not provide a safe way to rewrite its past choices.
Follow the betrayal route
- Talk to Letho and deal with the men arriving at the barn.
- Agree to help him and follow him to Louis's camp.
- Complete the fight and conversation there, then follow Letho to Lindenvale.
- Save before the bounty-hunter confrontation if you want to compare choices.
Do not stop at the apparent death
Letho asks you not to interfere. The historical route lets you defuse the aftermath so the hunters accept his medallion rather than taking his head. Examine him after they leave: he used a substance to appear dead. Finish the conversation and choose the Kaer Morhen invitation.
Check the journal and invitation dialogue before moving on. His apparent collapse alone is not proof that the quest permanently killed him. If your objective differs, use the saved pre-confrontation checkpoint and record the actual branch; do not force a quest-fact value from another edition.
Verify the invitation, not a universal ally repair
The cited route connects the invitation to his presence at the later battle. Preserve the completed quest save. For reaching the fortress normally, use Kaer Morhen access. No current save-editor fix, exact combat tuning or all-version recruitment workaround was tested here.
