Novigrad Dreaming: rag doll, oven clues and Sarah’s choice

Find the doll and crib, investigate the cellar oven, and choose whether Sarah stays before returning to Corinne’s dream.

Put the attic's rag doll in the crib to reveal the oven clue, then speak to Sarah in the cellar. You can let her stay by agreeing to mislead the owner, or evict her with burdock and Igni. Both documented branches let Corinne's investigation continue.

Find the doll and crib

  1. Investigate the house where Corinne is trapped in a nightmare.
  2. Climb the adjacent ladder to the attic and break the obstructing shelves with Aard or your weapon.
  3. Read the crib drawing and collect the rag doll.
  4. Place it in the crib. Follow the resulting oven picture to the cellar.

Choose Sarah's outcome

BranchAction and consequence
Let Sarah stayPromise to tell the owner the house remains haunted; Sarah releases Corinne.
Evict SarahGet burdock from a herbalist, put it in the oven and use Igni; Sarah leaves. The legacy route later places her with Johnny in Velen.

Keep a save before this conversation if the character outcome matters more than simply advancing the quest. This is a narrative choice; the page does not assign a universally best moral answer.

Wake Corinne and follow the dream

Speak to Corinne after resolving Sarah, then meet her upstairs at the Golden Sturgeon for the dream sequence concerning Dandelion. Waking her and finishing the later conversation are separate checkpoints.

If your objective still mentions the crib, check that you placed the doll rather than only picking it up. If it mentions the oven, return to the cellar before leaving the house. For a mismatch that survives reloading your checkpoint, record the objective text and build; no current quest-fact command is established here. Continue to the next investigation instead of hunting for a guaranteed banker reward.
