Where to find Arenaria in The Witcher 3: gathering and herbalists

Gather Arenaria between White Orchard’s sawmill and Woesong Bridge, check herbalist stock, and verify the ingredient rather than collecting any white flower.

A practical starting area

Search the fields between White Orchard’s sawmill and Woesong Bridge for Arenaria. The legacy wiki also lists herbalists as sellers. Confirm the plant’s displayed name rather than assuming every pale flower is the ingredient.

Gather the plant you actually need

  1. Check the alchemy recipe’s missing ingredient and quantity before leaving.
  2. Travel to White Orchard and search the fields between the two landmarks.
  3. Inspect the gathering prompt, collect Arenaria, and check the quantity in your inventory or recipe.
  4. Stop when the recipe has enough; record the location if you want to return later.

This is an area route, not an exact coordinate or a claim about a Remastered respawn timer. If you have already gathered the visible plants, choose a seller check instead of meditating for an invented fixed interval.

When buying is more convenient

The older wiki lists herbalists, including the Pellar near Blackbough, and Gremist at Gedyneith. Check whoever is available on your current route, compare the price and buy only what the recipe needs. NPC access and stock can vary with your progress; an empty shop is not proof the material has been removed from the game.

Gathering avoids a purchase if the plants are available. Buying avoids an extra cross-region trip if an accessible merchant has enough. The useful comparison is your own missing quantity, current stock and travel time.

Return to the blocked recipe

Arenaria is used for White Gull and several oils or potions in the legacy ingredient list. Owning the plant does not learn those formulas. Open the intended recipe and verify its requirements separately.

If the recipe still says the ingredient is missing, check the exact item name and count; take note of filters and active mods before assuming a bug. This guide is based on the published older ingredient route and does not invent current vendor prices, new formula quantities or guaranteed loot.
