Carnal Sins: interrogate Nathaniel and find the real murderer

Follow Priscilla’s investigation and question Nathaniel before attacking so you can reach Hubert Rejk’s warehouse.

Question Nathaniel before choosing to kill him. His explanation points to Hubert Rejk, the actual murderer in the documented investigation. Attacking immediately can close the case on the wrong suspect.

Follow the evidence after Cabaret

Finish Cabaret, then follow the attack on Priscilla to the hospital. Work with Joachim von Gratz through the morgue examination, Fabian's workshop and the attack alley. Follow the later victim clues and the Vegelbud residence investigation to Patricia and the Sweet Nettie lead at Crippled Kate's.

Keep a separate save before entering the suspect's room. A saved checkpoint here is useful because choosing a different conversation from an already completed case is too late.

Hear the explanation before resolving the abuse

Investigate why Nathaniel is there instead of immediately assuming he committed every murder. The interrogation reveals Hubert's warehouse lead. After getting that information, Nathaniel can be dealt with through the available Axii or lethal branch; learning the real culprit does not require leaving his abuse unchallenged.

Finish the actual case

Go to the warehouse named by the new objective, confront Hubert and complete the vampire encounter. Return to the hospital for the investigation's final step.

Check that your journal actually gained the Hubert lead, rather than inferring success from Nathaniel's death. If the quest ended without that lead, replay the earlier conversation save to pursue the documented full route. If the lead exists but the warehouse stage fails, record the current objective and build for support; this guide does not provide a tested 5.x quest-state repair. Exact experience and equipment rewards are not promised across editions.
