The Witcher 3 Cat School gear: standard diagrams and Temple Isle entrance

Find the seven standard Cat School diagrams, use the Eye of Nehaleni at Temple Isle, and distinguish the basic hunt from enhanced upgrade quests.

Choose standard, not enhanced

The standard Cat/Feline hunt has seven diagrams across four locations. The armor is below Temple Isle, reached from its western cliff path—not through the temple building.

Legacy base-game route. Standard and enhanced quests are different; this is not a Remastered diagram-drop repair.

The four stops

LocationDiagram check
Temple Isle cave, NovigradFour armor pieces on Mad Kiyan. Reach the western path and reveal the entrance with the Eye of Nehaleni.
Flying Stag wreckCrossbow chest below deck; the island lies southwest of the Lighthouse and northwest of Widows’ Grotto.
Est TayiarSilver sword on a skeleton behind a wall opened with Aard.
Drahim CastleSteel sword at the lowest level, reached through the door and ladders.

Inside, clear the golem area, then use the statue levers to face all statues toward the center. The floor opens to a pool; obtain the key below, return to the locked door and confront Kiyan. Loot the diagrams, not only the accompanying sword.

If the entrance will not respond, check that you obtained the Eye of Nehaleni through Keira’s story sequence. A map marker for something underground does not mean the entrance is on the same elevation as the marker.

Confirm the hunt before crafting

Check the exact “Feline” diagram names and tier in your crafting list. A completed Part 1/Part 2 upgrade hunt alone is not proof that you collected the standard set. Read the documents you find to reveal the next stops, and compare your missing piece with the table rather than restarting the whole route.

Use an armorer for armor and a swordsmith for swords, with the tier required by the recipe. If the goal is appearance rather than a stat upgrade, see Reforge and old-save skins. For missing crafting materials, see emerald dust.
