Use a barber’s scissors marker to change Geralt’s hair or beard. Established locations include Oxenfurt’s main square, Gildorf in Novigrad and Sjusta at Kaer Trolde harbor. The legacy Beauclair barber has a special quest and a restricted hairstyle menu, so not every barber offers the same selection.
Choose an accessible barber
| Region | Location lead |
|---|---|
| Velen / Novigrad | Oxenfurt main square or Gildorf |
| Skellige | Sjusta in Kaer Trolde’s harbor |
| Toussaint | Jean-Louis Ludovic after Of Sheers and a Witcher I Sing |
When travelling specifically for a hairstyle, start with an ordinary barber whose service you already have access to. Do not assume the closest marker is equivalent to every other barber.
Why the expected menu may be absent
The Claywich barber is associated with a rescue in the historical guide. Jean-Louis Ludovic’s Beauclair service follows his quest and is described as offering the Queen’s pageboy cut. A locked service or limited menu therefore has a different explanation from a missing generic haircut option.
Read the actual offered styles and price before paying. Save first if you want to compare appearances without spending repeatedly. This guide does not provide a current fixed price table or claim that every historical style is available under every edition and content configuration.
Keep cosmetic tasks separate
Hair and beard choices belong to the barber service. Armor colors use dyes; equipment skins use Reforge. Visiting Hattori or Yoana for a weapon appearance is not a route to a haircut. If an older edition is missing additional styles, check its installed cosmetic content before treating that as a Remastered save corruption issue.
