Accept Rosa's private lesson in Broken Flowers, then wait at least a day and return to her estate. If she disappears after the duel, follow her tracks to the Seven Cats Inn. This continuation is part of the quest, not automatically a missing-NPC bug.
Check the earlier invitation
Rosa offers further tutoring after the sparring and conversation at the var Attre residence. If you accepted, return later and speak to the guard captain; he explains that she went for a walk. Find her outside the city for the lesson.
Keep a save before the duel. This is not the wooden-sword training from your first visit: the legacy lesson uses real weapons. Prepare your health and equipment before starting.
Continue after Rosa walks away
- Complete the duel and let the following conversation play.
- When Rosa is no longer beside you, use Witcher Senses to investigate her trail.
- Follow it to the Seven Cats Inn.
- Resolve the confrontation with Kobe and Lucas through the offered payment, Axii or combat branch.
Check the final interaction and quest journal before returning to the estate. Searching the original duel location repeatedly does not substitute for following the trail.
Separate completion from expectations
The quest provides a lesson and an escort incident, not a documented full romance. Do not interpret a lack of romance options as failed progression.
If the invitation is absent, check the earlier Broken Flowers answer. If the guard or trail stage will not advance despite that prerequisite, preserve the save and record the objective text, time waited, platform and build. This page does not certify a current console-command recovery. For choices involving an actual main romance commitment, use the relationship guides instead.
